In this existentialist anthology, the protagonists in the three shorts reveal their true selves as they confront extreme situations, tiptoeing around death.
Religious or not, they engage in the search for moral standards, constantly examining their existing values and following their convictions.
The narratives unfold in a world sharply divided between good and evil, and the pressure to decide, as the characters walk through the tightrope escaping the demons of their past as the ones within.
The filmmaker explores human relationships, testing our belief in ourselves and in the power of the good in society.
This highly personal peak through the storyteller’s unfiltered lens exposes the scarred, bare faces of each character and the truth behind their masks.
Three stories that dive into a profound exploration of faith and the torment of mortality.
In Skating on the Razor’s Edge, my vision is to strip life down to its most fragile moments — the seconds when morality, mortality, and faith collide. These are not stories of heroes or villains, but of ordinary people forced to reveal their true selves when the silence around them becomes unbearable.
I want the film to immerse audiences in a world where stillness is louder than words. By letting the camera observe rather than dictate, every pause, every gesture becomes charged with meaning. The frame itself becomes the razor’s edge — sharp, unforgiving, impossible to escape.
Ultimately, my goal is to confront viewers with the same questions the characters face: What do we believe in when everything is stripped away? How do we find dignity in the shadow of death? The directing approach is not to provide answers, but to leave audiences haunted by the weight of choice and the fragile hope of redemption.
