Allan Katz – Head of Development

Allan Katz, one of Hollywood’s most successful and prolific writers began in Chicago where, as a novice copywriter/producer, overnight began to pile up awards for his innovative copy, and animation commercials specifically for a product he created called Screaming Yellow Zonkers. The success of the Zonkers campaign won him a job as the youngest writer on the innovative, award-winning television series, Laugh-In, for which he received an Emmy nomination.

Allan’s credits soon grew to include writing, creating and producing several hundred episodes of television’s most respected series including:
